In the past we have already informed you that after almost 20 years of continuous development of Windows-based ARIS products, IDS Scheer has decided to focus exclusively on the Java platform for its future strategic ARIS development program. Focusing on Java-based ARIS products will help you to take advantage of new Web-based functionalities, reduce system maintenance costs, and ensure compatibility with existing Java-based ARIS products. Based on this decision, development of Windows-based ARIS products will be discontinued. The respective products will receive restricted support as of July 1, 2010 and be finally de-supported as of January 1, 2011. We therefore strongly recommend that you replace their Windows-based ARIS products with Java-based ARIS products in the near future.
